
Two killed in road accident in Kulaura

Two people, including the driver, were killed and two others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw in Kulaura.
The accident took place in Shahpur area of Tilagaon Union of Kulaura at around 9 pm on Sunday.
It is learnt that on the way back from local Robirbazar on Sunday night, a CNG autorickshaw collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction in Shahpur area of Tilagaon Union. Meanwhile, CNG.
Two people, including the driver, were killed on the spot and two others were seriously injured. The witnesses immediately informed the Kulaura Police and Fire Service and rescued them from the spot and brought them to the Upazila Health Complex.

The deceased are CNG driver Muharam Mia (60) of Mubarakpur village of Tilagaon union, Liakat Sarkar (60) of Lahrajpur village of the same union. The injured are Kamran Mia (34) son of Abu Mia of Asraya village and Chaiful (42) son of Abdul Mannan of Bagrihal village.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Kulaura police station. Abdus Salek said that the bodies of the deceased will be sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case will be filed in the police station.
