Two  killed  in Narsingdi road accident

Two people were killed in a collision between a private car and a Bivatek in Shibpur, Narsingdi. The accident occurred around 11:30 am on Saturday (May 30) in the Ashrafpur area of the Itakhola-Manohardi road.
 
The deceased are Junayed Sheikh (13), son of Al Amin Sheikh of Satpara village in Shibpur upazila, and Rubel Sheikh (19), son of Khorshed Sheikh of Lakushi village in the same police station.
 
According to police and local sources, a private car collided with a Vivatek coming from the opposite direction in the Ashrafpur area of the Itakhola-Manohardi regional highway between Kumartek and Manurtek. The driver of the Vivatek, Md. Rubel Sheikh, passenger Md. Junaid Sheikh (11) and his mother Mahfuza were seriously injured in the accident.
 
 
When the locals took the injured to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor declared Md. Junaid Sheikh dead and referred Md. Rubel Sheikh to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He also died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Junaid Sheikh's mother Mahfuza is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
 
Confirming the incident, Shibpur Model Police Station OC Mohammad Kohinur Mia said that the body has been handed over to the family following the request of the relatives.
