Two killed in city as truck runs over motorcycle

Two motorcyclists were killed and another injured after a truck collided their bike in Mastul area on 300-feet road in the capital early Friday.
The deceased were Sajib Hossain, 35, and Roman, 33. The injured Deen Mohammed, 35, is now receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Shahidul Islam, sub-inspector of Khilkhet Police Station, said the accident took place around 4:45am when the trio was returning to Dhaka from Purbachal on the motorcycle and a truck hit their bike, leaving Roman died on the spot and two other injured.
The injured Sajib and Deen Mohammad were rushed to nearby hospital. Later, as their condition deteriorated they were shifted to DMCH, where Sajib died around 7:15am.
Police are trying to identify the truck, he added.
