Two held with two -kg ganja, yaba in Amtali

Amtali Thana police arrested two persons with two persins with two- kg of ganja and 10 pieces of yaba at Amtali in Barguna.
Amtali Thana Police informed this in a press conference on Thursday noon.
According to the sources of Amtali police station, two persons were arrested along with 2 kg of gauze and 10 peaches of Yaba in a raid from Monir Padar's kitchen based on secret information.
At around 1:15 AM on Wednesday night, a team of Amtali police station led by SI Aj Jalil, SI Azizur Rahman, ASI Jasim Sikder and ASI Mahbub Alam arrested the drug dealer Yaba from Chawla village during their trading.
The arrested are Monir Payda (35), son of Chhattar Payda of Chawla village of Atarogachia union of the upazila and Md Zakir Hossain (37), son of deceased Kader Mallik of Viala Bunia village of Sadar union.
Police said that the accused used to deal in drugs in the area for a long time. We were able to arrest them by raiding on the basis of secret information. The campaign against drugs continues.
Amtali police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Ariful Islam said, two drug dealers were arrested with 2 kg of ganja and 10 pitch yaba on the basis of secret information. A case has been registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Act and they have been handed over to the court.
