Uncle and cousin have been killed in a land dispute over land dispute in the Kanchpur industrial area of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj. Another brother of the deceased was undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College (DAMAC) Hospital. The deceased were identified as Aslam Sani (5) and his younger brother Shafiqul Islam Roni, 42. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon. The body was recovered and sent to the Narayanganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The case is under process.

It is learned that Aslam Sani and Shafiqul Islam Roni, son of the deceased Sanaullah of Panchpara village of Kanchpur union of the upazila, had been in dispute over land issues for a long time.

Talking to their uncle Mohiuddin and his son Mostafa Mia, focusing on the pipe connection from the drain for their home piones this afternoon, some other Sanaullah's family, including his uncle Mohiuddin and his son Mostafa Mia, attacked the family of Sanaullah.

The locals shouted at their call, and they quickly left the scene and locked the houses. The deceased Sanaullah's three sons Aslam Mia, Shafiqul Islam and Rafiqul Islam were seriously injured. They were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with serious injuries and the duty doctors declared Aslam Sani and Shafiqul Islam Roni dead. Rafiqul Islam is under treatment.

Sonargaon Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Ahsan Ullah said the police went to the scene and took control of the situation. The operation is underway to arrest those involved in the incident and preparations for the case are underway.
