Training workshop held with participation of journalists in Bagerhat

A training workshop titled "Prevention of mis-journalism in the media and presentation of objective news" was held with the participation of journalists of print and electronic media of Bagerhat district, organized by the Bangladesh Press Council in collaboration with the Bagerhat District Administration on Tuesday morning.
Justice AKM Abdul Hakim, Chairman of the Bangladesh Press Council, was present as the chief guest and resource person at the workshop at the Bagerhat Circuit House Conference Room.
Bagerhat D,C Ahmed Kamrul Hasan presided over and Muinul Islam, Deputy Director of the District Information Office. Md. Abdus Sabur, Secretary of the Bangladesh Press Council, delivered a discussion as a resource person on the importance of adhering to the code of conduct formulated by the Press Council in disseminating objective news. Superintendent of Police Touhidul Arif, officials of the District Information Office and others were present as special guests in the workshop.
At the end of the workshop, certificates were given to 36 trained journalists
