Gopal Krishna Debnath, Additional Chief Engineer, LGED, inaugurated the training of four projects including CRLIC on Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Center in the seminar room of RDEC building of LGED headquarters on Sunday.

The trainings will be held under the title of five-day TOT Course on Total Station, four-day Financial Management, five-day Quality Control Training, five-day Rapid Climate Impact Assessment and three-day Contract Management Monitoring including e-CMS training.

While inaugurating the training, Gopal Krishna Debnath, Additional Chief Engineer of the Directorate of Local Government Engineering, said that the participants in the training should be more focused. We all have an immense role to play in ensuring fair use of government time and money. We have to design and implement rural roads, bridges, culverts, multi-purpose disaster shelters, school buildings and structures in our country from the adverse effects of climate using the knowledge gained from the training.

Besides, he requested everyone to contribute to the working environment and protection of women.

Besides, project related officials and consultants were also present. The program was conducted by the Executive Engineer of LGED Training Unit Shafiqul Islam.
