Tongibari Upazila Admin monitors markets in Tongibari to keep essentials' price low

A market monitoring program has been conducted in Tongibari, Munshiganj to keep the prices of daily necessities within the purchasing level of the common people during the holy month of Ramadan.
This monitoring program was conducted in the Tongibari market of the upazila on Monday morning. UNO Md. Mostafizur Rahman conducted the program.
It is learnt that with the arrival of Ramadan, various problems including price increases and artificial crises in the market increase. This time, the monitoring campaign has been conducted by the upazila administration to keep the market under control.
The upazila administration said, the administration is keeping the highest vigilance in the campaign to ensure that the price list is not maintained in the shops, food items are sold in an unclean environment and overall order in the market is not created. Ordinary buyers have welcomed this step of the administration.
UNO Md. Mostafizur Rahman said, market monitoring has been done to control the prices of essential commodities during the holy month of Ramadan. In addition to warning the traders, they have been asked to refrain from increasing the prices of essential commodities.
