Three not three rifles, mines and grenades were recovered during the excavation of irrigation canal in Kishoreganj of Nilphamari.
The weapons were recovered on Monday in Sadar Union Bajedumuria Canal Bazaar area of Kishoreganj Upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Palash Chandra Mondal of Kishoreganj police station said that these weapons came out while digging the soil of Dalia main irrigation canal of Teesta irrigation project.
