What the people of Devidwar have given to my family, I will not be able to repay this debt. Now it's our turn to give something. The three of us will make Devidwar an educational and environment-friendly model Devidwar.'

Upazila Awami League vice-president Lutfur Rahman Babul said, 'This has happened because of the trust and faith of the entire Devidwar people on one family. After Abul Kalam Azad was elected upazila parishad chairman, people's confidence in him increased. He saved Devidwar from an apolitical misrule. Therefore, the local people elected his brother Mamunur Rashid as the chairman.
