Three people, including mother, son killed in Cumilla

Miscreants killed three people including a mother and son by twisting veils around their necks at Homna in Cumilla . They were killed sometime on Wednesday last night in their bedroom.
The incident took place in Bara Ghagutia village of Ghagutia union of Homna upazila. The deceased are Shahparan's wife Mahmuda Akhtar (35), their 9-year-old son Saad and Shahparan's cousin's daughter Tisha (14).
Cumilla Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP Homna Circle) Mir Mohsin confirmed the matter on Thursday morning. Locals said, Bara Ghagutia Village Md. Shahparan worked a job in Dhaka. His wife-son and one brother's daughter Tisha were sleeping on Wednesday night.
At some point in the night, miscreants killed them by twisting the veil around their necks and ran away. ASP Mir Mohsin said that the locals informed the police after seeing the bodies of three people in the same room on Thursday morning.
After receiving the news, we came with the force and recovered the bodies. The dead bodies have injury marks on the head.
They are believed to have been killed. We are investigating the incident. Preparations are underway to send the bodies to Cumilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Legal action is under process in this incident.
