Three JnU Students in Central Committee of "Warriors of July"

Three students of Jagannath University (JnU) have been included in the central committee of "Warriors of July," an organization formed by frontline fighters injured during the July 2024 mass uprising.
In the newly announced committee, Md. Masud Rana, a student of the 2020-21 academic session from the Department of Islamic History and Culture, has been elected as the Deputy Spokesperson. Additionally, Md. Nasim Hossain, from the same department and academic session, and Ferdous Sheikh from the Department of Management Studies, 2020-21 session, have been included as members.
On Tuesday, a press release announced the formation of this convening committee. The committee comprises Abu Bakr Siddique as Convener, Md. Salman Hossain as Member Secretary, Kazi Ashrafur Rahman Sifat as Chief Organizer, Cynthia Mehrin Sarkar as Spokesperson, and Md. Masud Rana as Deputy Spokesperson.
It is mentioned that the organization's primary goals include ensuring advanced medical treatment for individuals injured or disabled during the July-August mass uprising, rehabilitating the injured, and demanding justice for fascist oppressors through state mechanisms.
