Three brothers of Tangail's Siddiqui family will participate in the 12th National Assembly elections.
They are the elder brother Abdul Latif Siddiqui, former minister who was expelled from Awami League, Abdul Quader Siddiqui, president of Krishak Sramik Janata League and younger brother Murad Siddiqui.
Quader Siddiqui has submitted nomination papers from his party to the office of Assistant Returning Officer of Constituency Tangail-8 (Basail-Sakhipur). Anupam Shajahan Joy received Awami League's nomination for this seat on Wednesday.

The younger brother Murad Siddiqui did not seek the nomination of Awami League this time Later he took separate nomination papers from Tangail-4 (Kalihati) and Tangail-5 (Sadar) constituencies.
