The first HMPV infected patient in the country has been detected, there is no need for panic but public awareness

Dr. Muhammad Mahtab Hossain Mazed

The name of the newly discussed virus around the world is Human Metapneumovirus, which is also known as HMPV. The horror of Corona is no more. However, scientists often talk about the danger of such virus infection in the future. Now a new virus infection started in that fear. The strangely named virus has caused panic in recent times. The name of this new virus The Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) outbreak has increased in China After Japan, Malaysia and India, this time Bangladesh has also detected a patient infected with the human metapneumovirus (HMPV) spreading panic in China. The victim is a woman, whose village is said to be in Bhairab area of Kishoreganj.

On Sunday (January 12), the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) reported this information. Many people have already been affected by this influenza-like virus. The virus can be as dangerous as corona. Many experts fear that a new epidemic like Corona may emerge in 2025. However, it is not possible to give a clear message about which disease will become an epidemic. However, the outbreak of HMV is worrying them.

Another epidemic is feared. However, as it is not yet certain which disease will take the form of an epidemic, the early epidemic has been named Disease X. About 11 diseases like measles, cholera, bird flu and scabies have been listed as potential epidemics. In the meantime, the recent outbreak of HMPV has raised concerns among doctors and public health experts. In some videos posted on Chinese social media, it can be seen that the same situation was created during the outbreak of HMPV as the hospital was overcrowded during the Corona virus. The same situation is seen in Japan. According to the country's media, cold infections have exceeded seven lakh people in the country this season.

Michael Head said, 'The key feature of future pandemics will be deadly contagion. Human mortality will reach maximum.

> What are the symptoms of HMPV?

Symptoms of HMPV are similar to those of the flu and other respiratory infections. Common symptoms include cough, fever, nasal congestion and shortness of breath.

The incubation period for HMPV is usually three to six days. However, depending on the severity of the infection, the symptoms last for different durations.

Although it starts with common cold symptoms like fever, stuffy nose, cough or shortness of breath, later infection with this virus can lead to hospitalization. Sometimes the severity of the infection can cause problems such as bronchitis, pneumonia, asthma or ear infections.

> How does it spread?
HMPV spreads like other respiratory viruses. which includes-

1. Discharge from coughing and sneezing.

2. Shaking hands or touching.

3. Touching an infected area and then touching the mouth, nose or eyes with hands.

> Who is most at risk from this virus?

Children and the elderly are the most vulnerable to this virus, like the Corona virus. Especially those who have had respiratory problems in the past, are vulnerable to the attack of this new virus. Especially those with respiratory problems. HMPV virus has existed in the country before. It still exists in the body of children and the elderly. But don't panic. By following hygiene rules like Corona, it is possible to stay away from infection.

> Reovirus prevention in patients infected with HMPV virus

Hand washing: Wash your hands thoroughly with soapy water or alcohol based hand sanitizer as often as needed. After coming from outside, after touching something that has germs, after coming in contact with someone who is infected. In other words, you should keep your hands free of viruses.

Avoid touching the face: Avoid touching the face, nose and eyes with your hands. Because hands touch many things and viruses can be transferred to hands. If you have the virus on your hands, touching your mouth, nose or eyes increases the risk of infection. Wash your hands thoroughly whenever you need to touch them.

Social Distancing: Stay away from infected people or people who may be infected. Stay at least 1 meter (3 feet) away. Not only the infected person, but if possible, talking or walking should be kept at a distance from everyone.

Follow Etiquette: If infected, cough etiquette should be practiced. Cover your mouth when sneezing and coughing. Phlegm should not be spat out there. Tissues should be used and disposed of in appropriate places.

Avoidance: Places where people congregate should be avoided. All kinds of gatherings, processions, social events should be avoided. In a word, people should avoid going in crowds.

Public transport: Public transport should be avoided. If this is not possible at once, proceed with caution and use a mask.

Avoid touching: Do not touch covers or objects that are touched by many people. Be careful before touching things that are used publicly with hands or otherwise. Computers, keyboards and mice should be disinfected before sitting at public office desks. Elevator buttons, railings, public space door handles, knobs, hotel restaurant glasses, tea cups etc. are also listed here. Basically, be careful and wash your hands with sanitizer or soap before handling anything that someone may have touched.

After coming from outside: When entering the house after coming from outside, change your clothes and use in a designated room and wash your hands and exposed areas thoroughly with soapy water. If necessary, don't re-use clothing that has been used once without cleaning it. Abandon the habit of sitting on the bed or sofa after entering the house with outer clothes on.

Consumables: Sanitize your personal belongings such as mobiles, wallets, water bottles, glasses, pens, tea presses etc. as far as possible.

Use of mask: Wearing a face mask can provide some protection. Face masks may provide some protection from liquid sources of bat-reovirus, such as sneezes. But it is absolutely not possible to block the ultra fine particles of the virus. However, those who are infected with the virus must wear a mask.

Money: Bank notes or money can contain various types of germs. As a result, experts also say about the possibility of infectious diseases spreading through bank notes. So wash your hands after handling money and be aware.

Separate use: Separate indoor and outdoor items. For example, don't wear clothes that you wear outside indoors. Take care not to mix outdoor items with indoor items.

Special care for children and elderly: Special care should be taken for elderly people especially those suffering from other diseases. Mortality is high when older people are affected.

A virus is an invisible thing. It is not possible to say for sure how it will affect you. But the main thing is to keep yourself clean. Do not touch your face without washing your hands. Regular good hand washing is very important to prevent infection. Keep yourself clean and make everyone around you aware of keeping clean.

> Homeo Remedies- HMPV virus was reported for the first time about two decades ago but till now no vaccine has been discovered in its allopathic treatment system. And not the disease but the patient is treated for this by an experienced doctor called Dr.HMPV virus according to the homeopathic regimen prescribed by Hahnemann
Treatment of any complex difficult disease including various diseases can be easily treated by God's grace if the treatment is based on the individuality of the vivic symptoms and the combination of the symptoms. There is no such thing as eternal truth in medical science. Because once we used to hear that there is no cure for tuberculosis, now we hear that tuberculosis is better. All this is the result of scientific progress and development. Various diseases are the most popular treatment method in homeopathy. Homeopathic treatment is done by selecting medicines based on overall symptoms. It is the only medical procedure that removes all the signs and symptoms of the patient's suffering and restores him to full health.

> Homeo Medicine:- Medicines that can initially be used for HMPV in the same way as Rastox, Sarsenia purpurea, Vaccinum, Malandrinum, Pulsatilla, Entimcrude, Sulphur, Thuja, Variolinum, Mercurius Sol, Silicea, Bryonia Elb can also be used for symptoms. Without using medicine on its ownConsult an experienced physician. Finally, there is no cure for HMPV allopathy. However, like any virus outbreak, its outbreak can be prevented by taking precautionary measures. And using homeopathy specific treatment methods, patients usually recover within a week. I would request everyone, if you see the symptoms of this disease in Bangladesh, go to an experienced homeopathic doctor as soon as possible. With treatment it is possible to recover quickly.
