TCB sales for non-listed consumers start in 8 cities, 5 districts

Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin on Tuesday inaugurated TCB truck sales of subsidised essential foods for non-registered poor households across all the eight divisional cities and five districts.
The adviser launched the government-sponsored subsidised sales at Shibbari intersection in Khulna city.
On top of the 63 lakh low-income registered families benefitting regularly from TCB products, additional 12 lakh non-registered poor household can avail the affordable goods through the holy month of Ramadan, the adviser said during the inauguration.
The Tk588 package for each family includes one kilogram (kg) sugar, two-kg lentil, 2-litre soybean oil, 2-kg chickpeas, and half-kg dates.
