Sylhet City Jubodal has distributed leaflets and mass communication in the city in support of the ongoing dummy election boycott and non-cooperation movement declared by BNP On Monday afternoon, Mirza Md. Samrat Hossain General Secretary of Sylhet Mahanagar Jubo Dal presided over the programme , mass communication and leaflets were distributed in different markets of Madina Market area of the city, demanding the resignation of the fascist government, the cancellation of the one-sided and illegal election schedule under the non-partisan neutral government.

General Secretary of Sylhet Mahanagar Jubo Dal Mirza Md. Samrat Hossain, former senior members of convening committee of Mahanagar Jubo Dal Tofazzal Hossain Belal, Emdadul Haque Swapan, Jubo Dal leader Dulal Ahmad, Parvez Khan Jewel, Ahmad Khan Juned, Shamim Reza, Shael Rahman, MA Salam were present. Ripon Chowdhury, Sihab Khan, MA Hasan, Noor Mohammad Khan Taifur, Maksudul Karim Imon, Jamal Ahmad, Saiful Islam, Ali Ahsan Habib, Samad Hossain Saju, Mujibul Haque Rahat, Homayun Kibria Junel, Aminul Haque Tuhin, Saddam Hossain Litu, Tanveer Ahmed Babla, Layek Ahmed, Parvez Ahmed, Tanzim Hossain Liton, Nazmul Islam Akhal, Shahidul Islam, Samsul Islam, Kabir Hossain and Saju Ahmed attend the mass communication.

While distributing the leaflets, the general secretary of the Mahanagar Juba Dal, Mirza Samrat Hossain, said that the patriotic people are ready to boycott the Patano election on January 7. Stop playing with the nation in the name of elections. Zia's soldiers cannot be removed from the ongoing movement for restoration of democracy by assaults, cases, arrests and torture.
