Sylhet city BNP distribution of leaflets in different areas including Bandar Bazar in Sylhet city on Saturday to protest against the increase in the price of goods, electricity and gas as part of the central program of BNP.
Nasim Hossain, President of Sylhet Metropolitan BNP attend the programme as a chief guest.
He said this Spech fascist government has increased the electricity and gas prices abnormally to take revenge on the people for boycotting the Patano dummy election on January 7. Instead of governing, the dummy government continues to exploit the country. Syndicate members of the government have become more reckless on the eve of fasting.
Ministers recommend eating plums instead of dates. The backs of the already marginalized masses have been pushed against the wall due to the increase in the prices of daily commodities. In such a difficult time, the government is deceiving the nation by reducing the price of Jalani oil in Namkawaste while increasing the price of electricity and gas in the name of coordination.
The people of the country are not safe in the hands of a government that creates public suffering. The movement of the patriotic masses against the fascist government is ongoing and will continue. Juba Dal central president Monayem Munna was present as a guest at the leaflet distribution.
Sylhet Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Imdad Hossain Chowdhury conducted the Road Meeting.
Among others, former joint convener of Mahanagar BNP Rezaul Hasan Koyes Lodi, Najibur Rahman Najib, District Youth Dal President Advocate Mominul Islam Mumin, General Secretary Maqsud Ahmad and General Secretary of Mahanagar Juba Dal Mirza Md Samrat Hossain were also present here.
Besides, during the distribution of leaflets, a large number of leaders and workers of various levels of the metropolitan BNP, 42 wards BNP, organs and cooperative organizations were present the meeting.
