State Minister for Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin MP said that the current democratic government is determined to build a crime-free and happy-prosperous Bangladesh.Specially, the Hathazari and Bayezid areas of Chittagong will be made crime-free at any cost. He warned that the clear message of our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Tarique Rahman is—“There is no party of criminals. If anyone is involved in any act that tarnishes the image of the party, he will not be given any concession.”State Minister Barrister Mir Helal Uddin MP said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the free VGF (rice) distribution program among the extremely poor and helpless families at the Hathazari Municipality premises in Chittagong district on Tuesday.State Minister Barrister Mir Helal Uddin MP expressed his gratitude to the voters of his constituency and said, "You have elected me with the highest vote in the history of Hathazari. My responsibility is to every person in this area. For the past 17 years, we have not only fought against fascists, but also against injustice, corruption and corruption in society. The main goal of our struggle was to restore people's voting rights and fundamental rights.
Giving strict instructions to party leaders and activists, State Minister Mir Helal MP said, "If anyone gets involved in any criminal activity in the name of the movement, I will request the law enforcement agencies to apply the law 10 times more strongly in your case, just as it is applied to ordinary people. The cause of people's suffering should not be anyone from the party or its affiliated organizations."Addressing the law enforcement agencies, he said, "You will not listen to any lobbying. Whoever the criminal is, take legal action. If any of my people recommends in favor of the criminal, let me know directly; I will take strict organizational action against him.
State Minister Barrister Mir Helal Uddin MP also said, "We are fellow travelers on the journey to the heights that Honorable Prime Minister Tarique Rahman wants to take Bangladesh to. We want to build a prosperous Bangladesh where we can proudly say with our passports in the world - we are Bangladeshis. We must embody the spirit of 'Bangladesh first' in every activity we do."After distributing VGF rice, State Minister Barrister Mir Helal Uddin MP inaugurated the Shilchari Road Carpeting Development Project and Smart LED Road Lighting Project of Hathazari Municipality. He also announced the inauguration of the HBB construction work on Chhota Kanchanpur Road of Farhadabad Union and the newly constructed bridges and culverts in Farhadabad and Dhalai Unions under the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief.Senior officials of Hathazari Upazila and Police administration, local political leaders and dignitaries were present at the event.
