Afzalur Rahman Ripon, Brahmanbaria 

The 'Startup Science Project and Innovation Idea Showcasing Program' was held today, Friday  at the Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium. The event was organized under the initiative of the Educational Excellence Support Scheme (EESS) SDE.

Implemented by the Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila Administration and the Sadar Upazila Secondary Education Office, the showcasing program was attended by Hafizur Rahman Molla Kachi, former Mayor of Brahmanbaria Municipality and former President of District BNP, as the chief guest.

Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sifat Mohammed Ishtiaque Bhuiyan presided over the function, while District Education Officer Md. Jahangir Alam was present as the special guest.

Moderated by Syed Mohammad Tafsir, Assistant Headmaster of Niaz Muhammad High School, the event heard speeches from Sabina Yasmin, Acting Headmistress of Annada Government High School, Papiya Akhter, Academic Officer of Sadar Upazila Secondary Education Office, and Rashed Kabir Akhand, former President of Anandamayi Girls' High School.

Headmasters from various schools, Afzalur Rahman Ripon, the district representative of the national English daily The Country Today, along with science-oriented teachers and students were also present at the venue.

A total of 12 schools set up stalls at the exhibition, showcasing several new, innovative, and creative projects. Among the competitors, the startup project presented by Niaz Muhammad High School secured the first position and was selected to represent the upazila at the district level.
