Special lecture held at DU on National Mourning Day

On the occasion of National Mourning Day organized by Bangladesh History Association, a special lecture was held at Sirajul Islam Lecture Theater auditorium of Dhaka University on Monday.
Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal was present as the chief guest on the occasion.

Presented by Emeritus Professor of Dhaka University. Atiur Rahman. Among others, General Secretary of Bangladesh History Association Professor Dr. Surma Zakaria Chowdhury.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Edn ) Professor Dr. ASM Maqsood Kamal paid deep respect to the immortal memory of all the martyrs of August 15, including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and said that Bangabandhu not only established an independent nation state, but he also did many things for the economic liberation of the people of Bangladesh.
Took action. By forming the government in the independent country, Bangabandhu had given more allocation for the development of education in the beginning.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) expressed his sincere thanks to the authors for presenting the very meaningful essays.
