Spanish Inditex Chair calls on DU VC

Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture of Spain Prof. Santiago Fernandez Mosquera paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. A S M Maksud Kamal on Monday at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Spanish Visiting Professor at DU Ms. Maria Amparo Porta Rivas.
During the meeting they stressed the need for strengthening joint collaborative academic, research and cultural exchange programs being conducted by the University of Dhaka and various universities in Spain. They also discussed about holding an international seminar on ‘Language and Culture’ at Dhaka University in February next.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. A S M Maksud Kamal thanked the Spanish Inditex Chair for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in strengthening joint collaborative academic and research activities with DU.
