A new force has emerged in the country in the Anti-discrimination Students' Movement and youths' spirit.

The entire nation is dreaming of a discrimination-free and exploitation-free society today.

Today's youth society is leading the nation to take the country forward with the promise of a prosperous nation-building, said Sharmin S. Murshid, Adviser on Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs.

She said that they brought the government without voting and called them the elected government. We are not a so called government. Under the leadership of Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus, we want to create a real polling environment free of controversy. The sacrifice of our children of 2024 cannot be forgotten. They are the successors of the freedom fighters of 71.

In 1971, the injustice was done and the brave Bengalis stood up against it. Injustice has happened in 2024, this time it is standing in the way of our children. The fresh blood in their chests has been exchanged for a new Bangladesh. Our children did not like the society or the state system that we built. They have taken to the streets to build a new road. We adults were gross in injustice. These children have taught us that injustice will not be tolerated. These kids have shaken our roots, says adviser Sharmin.

She said these at a press briefing on the measures taken and future plans by the Ministry of Social Welfare and Women and Child Affairs on the completion of one month of the interim government on Monday.

Secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare Md. Khairul Alam Sheikh; Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Nazma Mubarek were present on the occasion.

Social welfare adviser said, I am proud to be included in Dr. Yunus's team. We will perform the assigned duties with transparency and honesty. If there is no construction, construction cannot be done. Repairs, renovations and reconstructions must be carried out. Transparency and accountability must begin. Mentioning the fight against corruption and austerity, he said why would I do such a thing that I would have to flee the country.

In response to the questions of the journalists, he said that the activities of the ministry will continue, no work will be stopped. The youth should be healthy and bring the main catch. They need to ensure a safe environment. In response to another question, the adviser said, "We will not stay in power for a day longer than it takes to ensure a healthy environment or until you think we are not needed." Our aim is to give the nation a fair election.

She further told the journalists , we want to work together. Criticize me but work together. Criticism is the place of criticism and work is the place of work, this is how we want to establish a beautiful society.
