The service receivers have to suffer various kinds of suffering while collecting the digital birth registration certificate in Hathazari, Chattogram. The victims said that these complications are being created due to approval in the district and upazila by applying online through entrepreneurs in the municipality.

Digit's birth registration services include admission to educational institutions, registration for SSC exams, passport and driving license applications. The victims of 9 wards are suffering due to the complicated process and lengthy process of digital birth registration. The municipal authority delivery receipt after online application says that the certificate will be issued after 10 days or 15 days after submission of necessary documents. But many have to wait for more than 1 month to get this certificate.

Victims said that most of the births had wrong names of parents. They are not getting any solution even after standing all day.

Talking to many people who are suffering on the surface, it is known that even if a person wants to produce a death certificate, a birth certificate is required. If you do not have birth certificate, you have to apply online again. It takes days and even months to get them. All the victims want digital birth registration system and speedy resolution of their grievances. It can be seen in Hathajari Municipality that the revision of Jamma Sanad was closed from last November 10, 2024 to December 12, 2024.

Hathazari Municipal Administrator Lutfun Nahar Sharmin said, acknowledging the sufferings of the residents, he told this reporter that after a few days there is a problem with the server.
