A three-day Pitha Festival was organized by Silver Line Group to increase the enthusiasm of the workers in the factory.
All the officers, employees and workers of the group participated in the three-day Pitha Festival. The traditional Bengali Pitha Festival was celebrated with more than fifty different types of pitha made by the garment workers in the four units of the group. The Pitha Festival was inaugurated by the Managing Director (MD) of Silver Line Group M. A. H. Selim.
The three-day Pitha Festival from Thursday to Saturday (January 18) was celebrated with joy and excitement among the factory workers since the morning. The Managing Director, Director and Deputy Managing Director of the organization came to the factory and joined the Pitha Festival with the workers. The family members of the factory workers also joined the Pitha Festival.
At that time, Managing Director (MD) M. A. H. Selim said, workers are always busy in production. It is difficult for them to make and eat pitha. Therefore, this pitha festival has been organized to increase the enthusiasm of the workers for their work in this winter month and for the owners and workers to enjoy the joy together. 8-10 thousand workers, officers and employees of the four units of the group joined it. More than two hundred pitha-puli stalls were set up in a huge field.
Most of us who work in garment factories cannot observe the source of Bengali tradition or the day due to the pressure of work. Thinking of this, this pitha festival has been organized by the Silver Line Group.
