A protest march and protest rally was held at the initiative of Shibganj Upazila Awami League of Bogura like the rest of the country in protest against the threat to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

At 5 pm on Monday, the protest march left Bangabandhu Square and circled the main main road of the upazila.

Later, a protest rally was held in front of Bangabandhu Square under the chairmanship of Upazila Awami League President Mostafizar Rahman Mosta.

Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Tauhidur Rahman Manik addressed the protest rally. He said that they are now threatening to kill our leader Sheikh Hasina to destabilize the country to prevent the development of the country. We want exemplary trial of BNP leader Abu Sayed Chad.

Upazila Awami League Joint General Secretary Habibul Alam Master, Imdadul Haque Imdad, Organizing Secretary Mohidul Islam, Rizzakul Islam Raju, UP Chairman Shahidul Islam Shahid also spoke in the protest rally.

UP Chairman Shajahan Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League Vice President Kh.M. Shamim, Maruf Rahman Munju, Organizing Secretary Saiful Islam, Publicity and Publication Secretary Sohel Akhtar Mithu, Office Secretary Shahabuddin Shibli, Health and Population Affairs Secretary Sohel Rana Mintu, women Affairs Secretary Jannati Akter Tumpa, Municipal Awami League President Aminul Haque Dudu, General Secretary Samsul Islam, UP Chairman Ahsan Habib Sabuj, Zahidul Islam, Belal Hossain, Volunteer League General Secretary Md Saidul Islam, Upazila Krishak League President Lutfar Rahman and General Secretary Md Shahinur Alam were present.
