Sheikh Rehana seeks prayers for Tulip

Sheikh Rehana sought prayers from everyone for her daughter Tulip Siddiq as she was elected for the fourth time in her constituency Hampstead and Highgate, UK with 23,432 votes.
Excited Rehana with her daughter’s victory in the UK election said, “I request all to pray for Tulip so that she can discharge her duties upholding honesty and dedication all the time.”
Tulip, also a granddaughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, would remain beside people in need not even within her constituency but everywhere, Rehana said in her instant reaction.
“I wish that she (Tulip) would dedicate her life to the welfare of the people,” Rehana, younger daughter of Bangabandhu, said.
Rehana said she did not dream Tulip would take part in politics but eventually, she emerged as a politician.
“I wanted her to be a teacher, judge, barrister, or something else, but she chose to join politics on her own,” Rehana said.
