Sheikh Abu Saleh Masud Karim joins Tarail Police Station as new OC

Tarail (Kishoreganj) Correspondent: Experienced police officer Sheikh Abu Saleh Masud Karim has taken charge as the new OC of Tarail Police Station in Kishoreganj. He took over the charge of the police station from outgoing OC Jalal Uddin in a formal ceremony on Monday.
This has given a new momentum to the law and order control and administrative activities of Tarail Police Station.
Before joining Tarail Police Station, Sheikh Abu Saleh Masud Karim served with great devotion at Kishoreganj District Headquarters. Born in Faridpur District, this officer is the father of three daughters. He has a good reputation at the departmental level for his honesty and courage at work.
In a brief response after assuming office, the new OC Sheikh Abu Saleh Masud Karim said, "The police will be a true friend of the people. My first and foremost goal is to ensure the safety of every person in Tarail Police Station and restore the trust of the general public in the police." He further warned, "A zero tolerance policy will be adopted against drugs, terrorism and any kind of criminal activities in the area. No one, whoever the criminal, will be given any kind of concession."
Meanwhile, the general public in the area is relieved and excited as a skilled and people-friendly officer has joined the police station. Local conscious circles are expressing hope that under the strong leadership of Sheikh Abu Saleh Masud Karim, Tarail Upazila will become a safe and peaceful town and the general public will get quick and harassment-free legal services.
