Senior journalist Shafiq Rehman admitted at BSMMU

Veteran journalist Shafiq Rehman has been admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) due to various physical ailments.
On behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman on Wednesday (September 11), Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam visited Shafiq Rehman.
During the visit, Rafiqul Islam inquired about the health of journalist Shafiq Rehman.
Dr. Rafiqul said, 'Our acting chairman Tariq Rahman has sent me to inquire about the health of journalist Shafiq Rehman. He wished him a speedy recovery.
Shafiq Rehman, political analyst, writer and former editor of news weekly and daily 'Jay Jai Din' returned home from London, United Kingdom after six years on August 19.
