Seminar on higher education, prevention of drug addiction held in Barlekha

A seminar on higher education and prevention of drug addiction was held in Barlekha of Moulvibazar on Friday afternoon at No. 7 Khasi Punji of Dakshinbhag (South) Union of the upazila under the management of Middle and South Bangladesh Child Development Project.
This seminar is held with the full cooperation of international child development organization "Compassion International Bangladesh".
Under the chairmanship of project chairman Probinson Suchiang and moderated by child development worker Michael Nongrum, the lecturer of Bengali department of Juri Taibunnesa Khanam Government College Badrul Islam Manu discussed higher education in the seminar.
On the other hand, Tapan Kumar Das, Barlekha upazila representative of daily Ittefak, discussed about awareness to prevent drug addiction.
60 secondary, higher secondary and graduate students participated in the seminar.
Project Social Development Worker Rita Suchiang, Mother and Child Caregiver (Implementor) Priyanka Lgiri, Child Development Worker Hemson Dhar, Raju Khonglah, Shanti Pohsna and all the project workers were present on the occasion .
