Semi-annual coordination meeting of village courts held in Thakurgaon

A semi-annual coordination meeting was held at the district level to review the progress of village court activities and what to do.
The meeting was held on Thursday morning at the multipurpose hall of the district administration's office, organized by the district administration.
Deputy Director (Acting) of Local Government Sardar Mustafa Shahin presided over the function and Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Farzana was present as the chief guest. Account Assistant cum Computer Operator of all Union Parishads of the district, Union Administrative Officer and District Manager of the Third Phase Project in Bangladesh, along with Upazila Coordinators were present.
The meeting discussed the steps taken at the upazila level to activate the village courts, the progress in implementing the program, and the existing challenges and things to be done in the comparatively backward unions. Along with this, proposals were formulated to solve the problems of the unions.
