As part of the National Fruit Fair, a day-long seasonal fruit display and food festival was held at Singra, Natore, organized by Sholakura Islamia Alim Madrasa.
UNO Mazharul Islam inaugurated the fruit festival at the organization's hall on Tuesday at 10 am.
Present at the time were the president of the managing committee of this madrasa, Professor Md. Entaz Ali, principal Maulana Motarraf Hossain, lecturer Maulana Shahjahan Ali, lecturer Maulana Sadrul Ula, Abdur Rouf, president of Singra Press Club Molla Md. Emran Ali Rana and others.
About 25 varieties of local fruits are displayed at the fruit festival.
