SDF's RELI project stakeholders' workshop in C'awabganj

A stakeholder workshop was held in Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila under the Resilience, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Improvement (RELI) project of Social Development Foundation (SDF) in Chapainawabganj.

The workshop was held under the chairmanship of Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mst. Tashmina Khatun.

The workshop was attended by ASDF's Chapainawabganj District Manager Md. Mahabubur Rashid and heads of various government and private departments at the upazila level, as well as leaders of village organizations.

The speakers at the workshop said, “Resilience, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Improvement (RELI)” project is a project of the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh, which is being implemented by SDF. Through this project, poverty alleviation, capacity building and employment creation through training, involvement of the extremely poor and poor people in income-generating activities through financial assistance, assistance in ensuring food security, creation of permanent and sustainable organizations in villages, provision of one-time grants to the underprivileged and helpless, development of rural infrastructure, employment of unemployed youth, livelihood development, health and nutrition support and other developmental activities are being implemented.

Finally, the honorable president of this workshop, Mst. Tashmina Khatun, congratulated and wished all the attendees and gave various guiding suggestions and declared the end of the workshop by providing higher education scholarship checks to the meritorious students on behalf of SDF.
