SBAC Bank condolence message for its sponsor shareholder Matiur Rahman

SBAC Bank PLC.’s sponsor shareholder & former director Matiur Rahman (Babu) has passed away (Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi rajeun). He breathed his last breath at 4 a.m. on Tuesday at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in the capital city of Dhaka. He was 68 years old at the time of his passing. He leaves behind his wife, one son, two daughters, relatives, and many admirers. His namaj-e-janaja was held at Gulshan Azad Mosque at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday & he was laid to rest in the family graveyard in Jashore.
On behalf of Board of Directors of SBAC Bank, Chairman Eng. Md. Moklesur Rahman, and on behalf of Management Authority, Managing Director & CEO Habibur Rahman expressed their deep sadness over the passing of founding sponsor director Matiur Rahman.
They shared their heartfelt condolences with his family and loved ones. In a message of sympathy, they said that the SBAC Bank family is very saddened by his loss. Matiur Rahman played an important role in the country’s development in socio-economic sector. We pray to Allah for his soul’s peace and forgiveness.
