The leaders of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Sylhet Agricultural University Reporters’ Forum paid a courtesy call on Sylhet Agricultural University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman Howlader.

The journalist leaders paid the courtesy call in the Vice-Chancellor's office at 11:30 am on Wednesday (February 16). On behalf of the newly formed committee, they extended heartfelt greetings to the Vice Chancellor of the University. Iftekhar Ahmed Fagun, newly elected president of Sylhet Agricultural University Reporters’ Forum, general secretary Syed Zahid Hasan, finance secretary Argho Chanda, executive member Sabyasachi Niloy, general member Md. Golam Mortuza Selim, SM Rayhanul Nabi, Ashim Kumar Baishnab, Habiba Sultana Khushi and Sajid Al Sadiq were present on the occasion.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Matiar Rahman Howlader addressing the journalists, said that all the journalists of Sylhet Agricultural University who are working in different media are students of this university. By providing authentic news in the media, they can inform general readers about the progress of education and research of this university. The Vice-Chancellor hoped that the newly elected committee would manage the organizational activities well and all journalists would cover real, authentic and positive constructive news.

President Iftekhar Ahmed Fagun and General Secretary Syed Zahid Hasan drew the attention of the Vice-Chancellor to various issues to expedite the organizational activities of the Reporters’ Forum in the University campus.
