RUN-25 distributed blankets among 400 helpless and rootless cold -hit families at Shewrapara in Mirpur on Saturday.
Humayun Rashid Jony, Councilor, Ward No 14, Dhaka North City Corporation was present as Chief Guest and Mr. Moniruzzaman Chowdhury, President of Run 25 and First Assistant Vice President of Public Affairs and Brand Communication of First Security Islami Bank PLC presided over the program organized in this regard. Among others, organizer of RUN-25 Jewel, Suman, Sujan, Kabli, Mamun, Samrat, Ashraf, Shimul, Kabir, Shohag, Raju and others were present.
RUN 25 has always been working for the welfare of people and society. The organization has extended its hand of support as needed, including winter clothes for the cold, food aid during the corona pandemic said by Humayun Rashid Jony, Local Councilor.
President of the organization Mr. Moniruzzaman Chowdhury said that, RUN-25, which started its journey in 1997, has been working social welfare activities since its inception.
The organization provided support to flood victims of 1998, provided masks, sanitizers, food and medical supplies and installed coronavirus deactivation chambers during corona pandemic, winter clothes to cold hit people and financial support to various mosques, madrasa, orphanage and social institutions as needed.
He expressed his firm belief that this great activity of RUN-25 will continue in the future as well.
