Restoration of law and order to be main task of interim govt: Home Adviser

The newly formed interim government will work putting importance on the restoration of the country’s law and order immediately, Brigadier General (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain, has said.
Claiming that confidence in the law enforcement agencies has drastically declined, he stated that the interim government will first focus on improving the country’s law and order situation and restoring self-confidence among the agencies.
“The interim government is concerned over the attacks on minorities but, it has slightly been exaggerated,” he made the remarks during an interview with Reuters on Friday.
