Residents of Dohazari 'C' Category Municipality in Chandanish Upazila of Chittagong are being deprived of municipal services.

Money has to pay in the name of holding tax. The Dohazari Union Parishad of the upazila was abolished and promoted to the Municipality of the C Category in the 2017. From the beginning, the UNO served as additional administrators. During the fascist government, the Awami League's nominated mayor was elected by voting.

After the fall of the Awami League , the municipality continued with the government's directive. The municipality is running by the bybUpazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Diploma Chakma as Acting Administrator.

He serves as the administrator one day a week as an additional responsibility for his own office. Samsuddin was the only one who served multiple positions due to manpower crisis with his self-employment manpower.

The municipality has to be hugged to get national certificates, death certificates, inheritance certificates and birth certificates. Not only that, it is alleged that they are not getting the right time by applying for various certificates with the claimed holding text. If the money is not given, the staff said the server distrub, the administrator did not sign. Some times you say that the application form is not found.

Thus, the people of the municipality complained that various excuses were being turned around for 15/20 days. In the meantime, the national certificate form, certification form is being purchased by one hundred taka to apply to the municipality to become a voter. On top of that, the municipal people want to be voted at the desired holding tax. Some officials of the municipality are being harassed by the employees. In one word, the money is going on in the Dohazari municipality.

Other students, including Akib of the anti -Dohazari student movement, met with Diplomacy Chakma, Administrator of Dohazari Municipality on January 30 and requested to solve the existing problems.
