Religious Affairs Adviser Dr. A. F. M. Khalid Hossain visited the progress of development work of Jaintapur Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center in Sylhet. At that time, he spoke as the chief guest at a meeting with local Muslims and political figures organized by the upazila administration.

On Wednesday at 5 pm, when he arrived at the newly built Jaintapur Model Mosque adjacent to the Jaintapur Upazila Water Development Board office, he was welcomed with flowers by Jaintapur Upazila Executive Officer George Mitra Chakma.

He inspected the progress of various ongoing works of the newly built Jaintapur Upazila Model Mosque and Cultural Center. He spoke as the chief guest at the meeting organized by the upazila administration.

The meeting was chaired by UNO George Mitra Chakma and moderated by Assistant Commissioner (Land ) Ms. Farzana Akhter Laboni. Supervising Engineer of Sylhet Public Works Circle Md. was present as a special guest. Ilias Ahmed, Islamic Foundation Sylhet District Director Mohammad Mohiuddin Majumder, Executive Engineer Mohammad Abu Zafar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Kanaighat Circle) Alok Sharma, former Chairman of Jaintapur Upazila Parishad and Secretary General of District Jamaat Alhaj Joynal Abedin, President of 17 Parganas Shalish Coordination Committee Abu Zafar Abul Moula Chowdhury, President of Jaintapur Upazila BNP Abdur Rashid, Chairman of Nijpat Union Parishad and Organizing Secretary of Upazila BNP Intaz Ali, Amir of Upazila Jamaat Golam Kibria, Secretary General Rafiq Ahmed, officials and employees of various departments of the Upazila administration, members of Islamic Foundation Jaintapur, Upazila National Imam Association, scholars, ulama from madrasas of various unions of the Upazila, political figures, media workers and others were present.
