Rejoinder on news of Chittagong Railway Hospital

Dr. IS Abdul Ahad (CMO/East) has has given a rejoinder about the news published in The Daily Country Today on Sunday, 15 September 2024, along with allegations of the government's loss of crores of rupees through various irregularities and the hospital in the eastern region of Bangladesh Railway.
He said that the information given to me in the published news regarding the collection of huge commissions for the purchase of medicines and medical equipment, misappropriation of training money, transfer trade, irregularities in housing allocation etc. is motivated, fabricated and baseless.
At present, a group of people are constantly trying to disrupt, tarnish and denigrate the development progress of Bangladesh Railway Hospital, including my work efficiency and external and working life career as well as Bangladesh Railway Hospital. The false and baseless allegations against me published in the newspaper are not true at all and I have nothing to do with this matter. There are separate committees for purchasing medicine, allotment of houses. The digital lab set up to diagnose the diseases of railway officials/employees and their pets by purchasing modern equipment is second to none in Bangladesh Railways. In this situation, there is an attempt to disrupt the development of medical services in railway hospitals.
