An introductory meeting of the newly formed ad-hoc committee and a public reception by local residents were held today, Wednesday afternoon at Hossainpur-Shambhupura-Pirojpur Union High School in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj.

The event took place at the school auditorium with the newly- appointed president of the ad-hoc committee, Alhaj Mohammad Bazlur Rahman, in the chair. The program was conducted by Humayun Kabir Master.

The assembly was attended by the school's Headmaster Omar Faruk Miajee, guardian member Kamal Hossain, and teacher member Abdus Salam. Editor and Publisher of the Daily Bangladesher Alo Mofizur Rahman Babu, Kabir Hossain Bhuiyan Babul, Ali Ahmad Member, Mujibur Rahman Ripon, Muktar Hossain, and Jonokollan Samity Advisor Zakir Hossain were present as special guests, alongside the school's teachers, students, guardians, and local dignitaries.

In his presidential address, Alhaj Mohammad Bazlur Rahman stressed the need for everyone to work sincerely to elevate the standard of education at the institution. He noted that he had made his best efforts for the infrastructural development of the school in the past and promised to maintain this momentum in the coming days. He also shared his plans to construct a residential building for the teachers on the school premises so that they can reside on campus and impart lessons to the students in a calm and beautiful environment.

He further sought the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure the overall development of the school and to secure a bright future for the students. During the ceremony, the local residents welcomed the newly formed ad-hoc committee with floral greetings and expressed their trust and support for the new leadership.
