The election of the Rajbari District Bar Association was held peacefully on Thursday.

From 8am to 5pm, voting was held on the third floor of the main building of the association. Then, after the counting of the vote, Chief Election Commissioner Senior Lawyer Adv Ashok Kumar Saha announced the results of the election at 9pm.

Khandaker Habibur Rahman Bachchu has been elected General Secretary from the unity council of the unity council in the election and re -elected Md. Abdur Razzak (2) from the same panel.

The Awami League -backed lawyer panel has been overwhelmed despite the absolute victory of the BNP, Jamaat and general lawyer -backed panel in the elections.

It is learned that in the elections, 20 candidates from the Unity Council and the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council participated in the elections. Among these, the Jatiya Party, the BNP, the Jamaat and the General Lawyers supported lawyers are panels and the joint lawyer coordination council of Awami League -backed lawyers. The Awami League -backed panel members participated in the elections with less than two candidates. In the elections, the BNP, Jamaat -backed panel 3 won the Awami League -backed panel.

According to the District Bar Association sources, Khandaker Habibur Rahman Bachchu has been elected from the joint lawyer unity council in the elections. His nearest rival, Md. Anisur Rahman, was defeated by the Combined Lawyer Coordination Council. Abdul Hakim Khan Ripon won by the Combined Lawyer Unity Council for the post of Vice-President. Abdus Sattar was defeated by the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council with his nearest rival, with 5 votes. His nearest rival, Muhammad Roknuz Zaman of the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council, got 5 votesThe Combined Lawyer Unity Council has won four from the Unity Council and 3 of the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council. Mizanur Rahman Sujan from the Combined Lawyer Unity Council won 12 votes and Md. Arab Ali of the Combined Lawyers Coordination CouncilMd. Abdur Razak, the joint lawyer of the unity council, was defeated by the 12 votes and the Joint Lawyer Coordination Coordination Council. Ahmed Ali Mridha Mridha (Batu) of the Combined Lawyer Coordination Council (Batu) of the Combined Lawyer Coordination Council was defeated. Out of the 5 members, five were won from the panel of the unity council, namely the BNP, Jamaat and general lawyer.

Besides, Qayyum Hossain of the Combined Lawyer Unity Council for the post of Member, Md. Musharraf Hossain 3 votes, Mahbubur Rahman 3 votes, Mohammad Masudur Rashid 3 votes and Md. Ziaur Rahman won 125 votesAmong those defeated, Md. Shafiul Reza Tapan of the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council, Md. Shariful Islam 1 and Md. Shahidul Islam were defeated. Out of the total 225 voters in this election, 225 voters exercised their franchise.
