
Quota Reform Movement 4 receive bullet injuries in Chankharpul clash

Four people including students of Shaikh Burhanuddin Post Graduate College in Chankharpul area on Tuesday sustained bullet injuries during a clash with the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), a student front of Bangladesh Awami League.
A number of students of the college brought out a procession to meet their demand for reform in the quota system in public jobs.
Suddenly, sporadic clashes erupted between the quota reformists and BCL activists, leaving four quota reform activists injured by gunfire.
The four victims were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital as their conditions deteriorated.
Further details, including the identities of the victims, could not be known immediately.
