Public hearing held in Lalmonirhat on implementation of Teesta Master Plan

A public hearing was held at the Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner's Office on the third day for the implementation of Teesta Master Plan.
The public hearing was held in the hall room of the Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner's Office on Tuesday from 11 am to 2 pm.
Various aspects of the implementation of Teesta Master Plan were highlighted in the hearing. Leaders working in various social, political, cultural and river research and river protection movements in Lalmonirhat district participated in it. The public hearing was presided over by Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner HM Rakib Haider. He presented various proposals for development centered on Lalmonirhat district. In addition, leaders of various political, social movements, environmental movements, and anti-discrimination movements expressed their views.
Earlier, public hearings were held in Gaibandha and Rangpur, and the third phase of the public hearing was held in Lalmonirhat. After the event, China Country Director Han Kun said that they are taking notes on the three public hearings and will inform their higher authorities.
