Former joint secretary of Pabna district BNP, Zakaria Pintu, has alleged that former Chhatra League president Habibur Rahman Habib, Convener of BNP's Pabna district and advisor to Begum Khaleda Zia, is allegedly rehabilitating the Awami League in various ways with the signboard of BNP's Pabna district convener and Begum Khaleda Zia on Sunday afternoon at Rooppur Futu Market.

 He made this allegation while speaking as the chief guest at a protest meeting on behalf of the local BNP in protest against various anti-organizational activities including extortion, encroachment, and selling BNP committees in exchange for money with the signboard of BNP. Under the chairmanship of former central leader of Railway Workers' Party, Ahsan Habib, and under the leadership of the army, BNP leaders Fazlur Rahman, Humayun Kabir Dulal, Ed. Shamsuzzoha Jami, among others, spoke at various levels of BNP and its affiliated organizations.

 Zakaria Pintu further said, through various anti-organization activities, it is clear in Ishwardi that Habib Saheb, who used to do politics of Awami Chhatra League-Juba League during his time as Chhatra League president, has been giving shelter to his brothers in BNP since last August 5. Those who have done various misdeeds and crimes as Chhatra League-Juba League leaders for the last 27 years. All of them, who have come to BNP from Chhatra Dal, are doing various misdeeds from Habib Saheb's shelter today. Therefore, I, who came to BNP from Chhatra Dal, will not accept Habib Saheb's extortion and anti-organization activities if I have a single drop of Zakaria Pintu's blood. Zakaria Pintu said, he has no sympathy for BNP. 

Even if BNP is destroyed by extortion and trying to collect his own sugarcane, he does not care. But I feel pain. Because we have to be accountable to the people. We will continue to seek votes from the people in the coming days. Therefore, I cannot sit by if this party is damaged.
