A protest rally and demonstration was held at the call of Imam-Ulama Parishad, friends of Dawate Tabligh and Islamic Tawheed people in Kishoreganj to demand the arrest and execution of the terrorist murderers Saad group who were involved in the surprise attack of the Saad Panthis on Dawat Tabligh and Ulama.

On Sunday from 10 am , a procession from different areas of the upazila, Tarail-Sachail Darul Huda gathered at the nearby Ulum Madrasa ground for Da'wah, the companions of Tabligh, the scholars-ulama of different Madrasas and the general public. Later, at 11:00 a.m., a huge protest march consisting of thousands of people came out and went around Tarail Sadar Bazaar and met again at the Madrasah ground.

Imam-Ulama Parishad Tarail Upazila branch president Maulana Faiz Uddin presided over and Imam-Ulama Parishad Tarail Upazila branch education and literature secretary Maulana Lutfur Rahman gave a speech, Mufti Shahidullah, Tarail upazila zimmadar of Dawat and Tabligh, Murubbi and Tongi of Kishoreganj Tabligh Markaz spoke.

Eyewitness Maulana Rafiqul Islam, Senior Vice President of Imam-Ulama Parishad Tarail Upazila Branch Maulana Sadekur Rahman, Maulana Abdul Hai, Maulana Borhan Uddin Ahmad, Maulana Abdur Rahim, General Secretary of Imam-Ulama Parishad Tarail Upazila Branch Maulana Zubair Ahmad, Maulana Fakhruddin, Maulana Ainul Islam, Tarail Upazila mosque Imam and Khatib Maulana Farid Uddin, Maulana Enamul Haque, Secretary of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Tarail Upazila Branch Maulana Shahjahan, Maulana Shafiqul Islam, Maulana Enayetullah, BNP leader Samir Hossain Saki, Sarwar Alam, Omar Farooq and others.

Speakers in the rally strongly condemned the incident of death and injuries in the surprise attack at Ijtema Maidan in Tongi and demanded hanging of the culprits.

He also called on the Saad followers of Tarail upazila to repent and return to the right path. Moreover, he demanded that all activities of Sa'ad supporters in Bangladesh be banned for life.

The speakers said that the sudden terrorist attack by the Saad forces while the companions of Tabligh were sleeping at the call of Shuraee Nezam, the scene of mayhem with indigenous weapons and the horrific picture of murder and injuries made it clear to the countrymen that it was premeditated by them. Their main objective is to destabilize the country, to question Tabligh and World Ijtema in Islam and Da'wah.

The speakers also said that in December 2018, they also attacked and injured. The Saad Panthi are basically agents of Awami League, Indian Raw and Israel. They are a terrorist group. For this reason, there is a strong demand to declare them banned and to ban all their activities in every mosque of the seven unions of Tarail Upazila.
