Protest in Baniachong to protest threat to kill PM Hasina

Baniachong Upazila Awami League and its front organizations held a march and rally to protest the 'death threat' to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina from the BNP rally in Rajshahi.
Meanwhile, they demanded the punishment of BNP leader Abu Saeed Chand.
On Monday (May 22), the leaders and activists of Baniachong Upazila Awami League and allied organizations started the protest march from the front of Bara Bazar Martyr Minar and circled the main road of Bara Bazar and ended with a short rally at Martyr Minar.
Several hundred leaders and activists of Baniachong Upazila Awami League and allied organizations participated.
In the speech of the chief guest in the rally, Alhaj Advocate Abdul Mojid Khan, Member of Parliament of Habiganj-2 Constituency, said that insulting and threatening to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is an act of treason.
As long as the leaders and activists of Awami League and allied organizations are on the streets, no one should dare to point fingers at Sheikh Hasina. Abu Said must be arrested as soon as possible. Otherwise, according to the instructions of the Awami League, we will go to the mass movement.
Various leaders of Awami League, Jubo League, Swachchasebak League, Sramik League, Chhatra League also spoke.
