The 38th FOBANA Conference to be held in Virginia, USA has broken the all-time record in the registration of organizations interested in participating. 86 organizations from more than 25 states are participating in this year's conference.

26 new organizations are joining the conference, which has never happened in the last 37 years, said Roksana Parveen, convener of the 38th FOBANA conference. He said these things at a press conference in a restaurant in Jackson Heights, New York last Saturday (August 3).

The 38th FOBANA Convention will be held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia on August 31-31 and September 1 over Labor Day weekend in Greater Washington DC, Virginia. Convenor Roksana Parveen also mentioned that more than a hundred workers and volunteers of Bangladesh Association of Greater Washington DC are working day and night to make this conference successful and fruitful.

He said that preparations for the Washington conference are proceeding with full enthusiasm. More than 100 workers involved in 35 sub-committees are directly or indirectly cooperating to carry forward the work of this preparatory phase, and it is specially mentioned that the officers of our Central Committee of Fobana and all the leaders of Fobana are cooperating tirelessly in organizing this conference to give a successful conference. For this, he expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to all concerned on behalf of the host committee.

In a written statement, Roksana Parveen said, this year's conference will have important seminars, starting from the country's economic development, literature, technical education and its impact and development, artificial intelligence and cyber security, women's empowerment, youth development, our participation in the mainstream and leadership development, Washington Tribute to Bangladeshi freedom fighters in metro area, Urban development, Nano technology and its effectiveness, Impact of AI in healthcare, Scholarship award to inspire young talented students, Music and dance competition to engage young generation with our culture, Women at large Discuss and highlight their empowerment to highlight their role, achievement and significance.

Get dressed up with Karupanya art exhibition, featuring our traditional Karupanya, colorful fashion show with unique youth participation, literature spotlight and poetry jalsa, Fobana book fair to encourage all Bengalis to read books, Youth Forum and Networking, Washington Tribute to Bangladeshi freedom fighters of metro area, NRB traders and business entrepreneurs, networking, university alumni forum talks, interfaith peace talks, screening of short films and documentaries of Bangladesh.

15 abstracts for important seminars have already been submitted and preparations for the seminar are in progress. Preparations for Kavya Jalsa are going on, around 20 renowned poets will participate in this phase. A poetry collection 'Kavyaloke' will be published with more than 50 poems by poets from different states of North America under the supervision of Swadesh Style Publishing.

The publication of Fobana's special collection - “Chetnai Bangladesh”, this special collection is being prepared by combining the writings of various renowned authors, our publication work is also progressing. Around 40 children of the younger generation are participating in the dance and music competition and the winners will be felicitated on the main stage. About 20-25 children of the younger generation are participating in the science fair. More than 150 NRB traders and business entrepreneurs are joining the Business Networking. This is another special event of Fobana conference. Another important event is our youth forum, where more than 100 potential young people are participating, between whom a wonderful bridge will be built, and the history, culture, culture and tradition of Bangladesh will live on their hands.
