A prayer was held in Barishal for the early recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

BNP Chairperson's advisor Advocate Mujibur Rahman Sarwar organized the prayer in front of the party office on Sadar Road in Barishal city at 12:30 pm on Wednesday.

Former leaders of the metropolitan BNP were present in the prayer.

Speaking at a discussion meeting before the prayer, Mujibur Rahman Sarwar said, "Time is being wasted on the elections. We have to hold elections first and reform later. There are various conspiracies being hatched regarding the elections. We have to remain united against all these conspiracies. People could not vote but now people are interested in voting. We want a fair election through fair voting. Everyone should be vigilant against those who are creating discord within the BNP."

At this time, he also mentioned that those who are doing various wrongs including extortion in BNP will not be spared. He said, we must remember Begum Khaleda Zia's struggle for democracy. Everyone will pray for her to recover and return to us very soon. Regarding the 31-point state reform, he said, the 31-point announcement made by our acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

It is timely. Everything has been said here. At this time, he called on the leaders and activists to remain united without dividing the party. Later, a prayer was held to pray for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia. Leaders of BNP and its affiliated organizations participated in it.
