Popular Life hands over Tk 9.67 cr insurance claim cheques in Chattogram region
Popular Life Insurance PLC handed over insurance claim checks totaling Tk 9 crore 67 lakh 57 thousand to policyholders in the Chattogram region on Saturday as part of its ongoing drive to expedite claim settlements.
The check handover ceremony was held at the Chattogram Engineers' Institute auditorium, with Company Chairman Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury attending as the chief guest.
Presided over by Popular Life Insurance Managing Director and CEO and Bangladesh Insurance Forum President B.M. Yousuf Ali, the event was attended by Sponsor Director and former Chairman Amir Humayun Mahmud Chowdhury as special guest.
The event was addressed by Additional Managing Director B.M. Showkat Ali, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary Mostafa Helal Kabir, Senior DMD Syed Motahar Hossain, DMD Md. Khalilur Rahman Sikder, Executive Director Sajjad Mahmud Kishore, Project Director Md. Mahbubur Rahman, and other senior officials. Project Directors Shamsuzzaman Selim and Arun Chandra Nath moderated the program.
