A Police Magistrates' Conference has been held at the initiative of the Judicial Magistrate's Court in Barishal to bring dynamism to judicial activities and strengthen coordination between various departments.

The conference was held on Tuesday,at 3:30 pm in the conference room of the Barisal Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court.

At the conference, various steps were taken to alleviate the suffering of trial seekers through mutual exchange of experiences between the judiciary, police administration, and other government departments.

At the conference, Barishal Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Zahidul Azad directed to ensure the timely presence of witnesses in court and to submit medical certificates and other necessary reports on time. He also promised to make the judicial system more people-friendly by completing the trial of cases as soon as possible to resolve the backlog of cases and by reviewing the progress of pending cases, identifying existing obstacles and strengthening coordination between the judiciary, police, RAB, Civil Surgeon's Office and hospital authorities.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Md. Zahidul Azad presided over the event, with Mr. Sheikh Faruk Hossain, Honorable Senior District and Sessions Judge, present as the chief guest.
At this time, the chief guest, Mr. Sheikh Faruk Hossain, said that to maintain the trust of the trial seekers and ensure justice, the Honorable District and Sessions Judge, Mr. Faruk Hossain, called on the judges to perform their duties with complete impartiality.

He said, "The court is the last refuge for people seeking justice. Therefore, our main responsibility is to conduct justice impartially, without any kind of nepotism or favoritism."
